OP here. Thank you all. Finally spoke to DCC. They said the switch will be made after Spring break as there’s still a lot of movement between schools.

I wish there had been guidance on this process somewhere. Because we were told to get student’s course selection in right away. But all the guidance on how to do that applied to selecting a course in early Feb.

Long story short — late Feb & March school changes have to wait for DCC to update everything before school counselors can assist with registering for classes.

+1
I think it takes some time to make the switch in the official system. When DC switched the counselor took the course requests by google form and they had to manually enter them later. I think it took months if I remember correctly.

If this is DCC, they have some process that will switch the student’s assigned high school in the system. Just contact the HS counselor and fill out the schedule request on paper/Google form. When the assignment is switched electronically, the counselor can add the courses.

Contact the counselor/s at the high school your child will be attending.

Does anyone have any experience accepting waitpool invites? We accepted one with the Notice of Intent form but are unable to register for classes because student isn't on the "new" high school's registrar. Our MS counselor wasn't able to help and the high school registrar said we had to fill out a COSA. But DCC choice website said COSA isn't needed. Also can't get the DCC choice office to answer the phone. Any experience on this would be appreciated.
