Brookewood in Kensington K-12 is screen free. Again, you have to be comfortable with Catholic education.

Keep in mind a lot of schools rapidly shifted to tech-heavy usage during and just after the initial pandemic period, and many did not fully return to what they had been doing prior, but kept more technology integrated in classrooms at an earlier age than previously. Put k8 expanded Chromebook use down two or three grades at that time and never pulled it back.

Children start working on the computer/ipad for some assignments including longer written assignments or presentations by 4th, dreambox math is assigned, smart boards/videos etc. It's not screen free. Yes, no phones on campus and it's not excessive. Actually wish keyboarding skills were taught more in school.

Try parochial Catholic! We love ours and there’s almost no tech

Yep! Outside of Montessori and Waldorf, which explicitly avoids screens in elementary grades, most schools have embraced technology. We had a very good experience at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School a few years ago. SSFS and Burgundy Farm, which both incorporate a good amount of outdoor education, use a lighter touch but do not reject technology. Classical Christian schools are also much more traditional with textbooks, penmanship and cursive, and back-to-basics approach, etc (but you’d need to be comfortable with the religious aspect to education).
