ADHD and very severe lack of self-motivation.

Stress of grades/college/lack of fun

School. He’s a junior and has learning disabilities and has a really hard time maintaining Bs, sometimes getting a C is a struggle. He’ll feel relief when this semesters grades are in and they are what they are, and he can make college decisions from there.

ADHD. Everyone acts like our MS is so easy, but my DS has to work very hard.

Dyslexia plus inherited shyness (mine and DH's). He's very quiet at school. He's not bullied or made fun of and does have a protective shell of school friends. I know he will be okay.

Grief, and PTSD.

Anxiety, social anxiety, depression, OCD, self harm/cutting.

+2. My child was pushed out of the group that mine invited the kid into. Has struggled to find a group since then, though DC has scattered friends across classes and activities. It was devastating and actually traumatized DC, the "queen bee" and her mother were incredibly cruel and manipulative.

The resulting social anxiety has been difficult.

Nothing. They take life easy. I think they have taken 10 chill days from school, may 12.
It doesn't bother them. I wish I had take schooling as lightly as they do.

She seems annoyed by everything right now, including friends. Hair trigger at times.

For my dd friendships, definitely. For my ds, not being an adult living life on his own terms

It is so easy to feel alone when your child is going through something, but talking to other parents you realize almost every child has something that they are struggling with. Yet sometimes it's hard to talk about in real life because you want to respect your child's privacy. So what are your teen's biggest challenges? (Mine has major social anxiety.)
