I haven’t tried it myself, but I just recently saw a video using Cheez Whiz. If you’re feeling adventurous you could give it a try.

Jiffy? Just make it as it. I like muffins because they’re easier to portion out but make plenty of them and most men will want two or three with the chili.

Both. I’m not familiar with your mix — and what you need to add, but if you’re adding some sort of fat, use one with better quality and flavor. If it doesn’t require added oil or butter, I’d still add a tiny bit for flavor.

Is the chili spicy?

Offset it with honey into the cornbread - salty/sweet combo is always popular

Minced jalapeno and grated sharp cheddar into the mix, then sprinkle a little grated sharp cheddar on top before baking.

I have a pouch of that cheap corn bread muffin mix. Anything I can add to make it better? It’s just for men who will be eating chili, so I don’t know how much it matters, but I thought I’d try.
