I walk with a 20-lb weight in a backpack and have seen improvement in my back and core strength. This is usually just 20-30 minutes a day.

You can get them on amazon. I think the studies used vests between 8-12lbs.

I have one from Amazon - I wear it over my shirt or jacket. I got a 12 lb but recommend starting lighter than that. 5-8 would be good unless you lift weights already.
