Lol. Have you ever been to a sleepover? They will stay up all night if they can. Try parenting and have some rules.

As an alternative, you don’t have to fill them. I’d hide dozens of plastic eggs around the living room every year, that the kids loved to hunt for, but I left a chocolate bunny and whatever other treats I was giving them in their easter basket. I think I sometimes left bubbles, sidewalk chalk, stickers, etc.

Whole Foods had a cute joke book on eggs. Also, they had a MadLibs book on eggs and Easter things. My kid doesn’t like candy so I always have to buy stuff other than candy.

Money. Fruit snacks. Stickers. Squishies. Temporary tattoos.

Just candy. If you know what the kids like that's great, but otherwise just put some random candy in it. I'd try to do a mix because we have a kid who doesn't like the one type of candy they do at our church (jelly beans), but even that's doing more than necessary.

Candy. Anything else why bother.
