5% increase is pretty standard for exceeds expectations. 3% is also a typical raise.

They do care, hence the increase. If you need to renegotiate your salary or title, that's a different conversation.

OP here. It is a 5% increase. My salary was 100k and now it is 105k. For the past 6 months, I have been replacing a colleague who is 3 levels above me. This colleague is not with the company anymore and the expectation is I will be doing is job going forward. I only get accolades. My review was assessed as “above expectations” I am a woman - is it okay to advocate for myself?

Why would they pay you more? They got a hardworking replacement for cheap. Take your business elsewhere, that’s the only way you’re going to get significant raises.

5% for annual is good.

What %is that? Only way to really increase is be promoted a significant amount. Usually to management or leave.

I am beyond disappointed. I got no promotion and a 5k salary increase. Needles to say, I work my a** off and I am a key team member. To what extent I can raise my disappointment with my manager? Can I ask him for a higher salary increase?
