Sorry the world is too woke for you, snowflake. Glad you’ve created a safe space for yourself from the big, bad anti-racist folks out there. I know it’s hard.

Have fun trusting your life to diversity rather than actual competency.

+1. Sorry but I’m not sacrificing my life on the altar of the United CEO’s quest for diversity in the workplace.

Please, it's the MBAs cutting cost to the bone. They get into companies founded by engineers and ruin them.

It’s actually not hard at all. United announces new “standards” in pilot hiring. I don’t fly them anymore. What could be simpler?

Not a good look for Boeing.

That poor man.

Right now people are hyper focused on looking at incidents. Problems happen every day; they are just being reported in the press.

No. I believe we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg.

I have flown around the world several times in the last 6 months. I am more likely to die in the drive to/from the airport than in an airplane.

So yes, i trust Boeing as much as I trust my car and the other cars on the road.

Not at all. I’ll do what I can to avoid flying in them, but I’m sure there will be times when I have few (or no) other choices.

Well, I fly without thinking about it, so ... yes?

I guess I should rethink that?

Hell to the no.
I just changed my flights for a work trip so I don’t have to travel on the Max.

It just keeps getting worse and worse:

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/03/12/investing/boeing-is-in-big-trouble/index.html

Is there going to be a point after which they're going to no longer allow any Boeing planes to fly anymore? The company has been driven into the ground for cost cutting purposes. Are these the risks consumers should be forced to swallow so Boeing can maximize profits for shareholders? How sad an American icon of innovation, technology, and quality is now basically trash. Worse yet, people are being harmed.
