Having each kid have a specific bag for each specific sport has been life changing. Get the type that best matches the activity so it has the right pockets/compartments… truly worth it it have a soccer bag that can actually hold a ball and cleats, swim bag with a waterproof section, etc.

You need a good car bag…like a previous poster I use a reusable grocery bag.

Car bag should be organized in gallon ziplocks
one ziploc: have the change of clothes for the 4 year old,
Second ziploc: sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, wipes, bandaids
Third ziploc: distraction toys for during sibling games/practices…chalk, deck of cards, collapsible kite, etc
Fourth ziploc: backup snacks that live in the car…small water bottle, granola bars

Then each kid has a bag for each activity. So there is Larla’s soccer bag and Larla’s softball bag that each have their own sport specific stuff in them. Each kid is responsible for their own sport bags.

If you are doing bento dinner on the road that’s the only bag you need to pack specifically for that day, and just use a reusable grocery bag.

Leave it all in the car. And the kids carry their own sports gear.

Rothy’s tote! Cute and you can throw it in the wash when it inevitably gets muddy or smashed snacks in the bottom

Agree, they look like a giant croc shoe and are bulky even when empty. I use a canvas bag and if I need to carry more, i use a fresh direct or other reusable grocery bag. Patagonia also has tote bags in their black hole line, 25L and 60 L. Cotopaxi has a 65 L one as well.

This. My kids do the lugging, not me.

I’m the poster that suggested the grocery store bags lol. We actually have a knock off bogg bag we use for the pool, I like this idea. It’s easy to organize and will hold almost everything and stand upright
I only have one kid so when we take packed dinner anywhere it’s usually just in a lunchbox I carry by the handle. She carries her water bottle and ball or whatever herself. Spare clothes stay in the car.

I keep seeing ads for Hulken bags. I personally use a flat bottom RTIC bag. It’s waterproof, light weight and doesn’t tip over.

I am looking for a good bag to bring all my stuff in when spring sports start. I have practices and/or games every single day during the week days for my 3 kids and will be carting around food (bento boxes), snacks, water bottles, extra clothes, etc. Any recommendations for a good bag? Right now I use a back pack as as "diaper bag" but its cumbersome and doesn't have a large enough space for the bento boxes, etc. Thanks!
