Bumping this up from the spring to ask how things shook out this year for your APS freshmen in choice programs or getting transfers, specifically Arlington Tech. Did all of you that wanted a spot eventually get one? I know every year is different but it's our turn to try this year and I'm wondering what our chances really look like.

I have a 6th grader in HB. Hoping my 4th grader will join him eventually, but unfortunately no sibling priority. We have been told that there is little movement in lists until HS, because a lot of kids leave HB for other HS, since HB has no Sports and is small...

My kid was 18 on the IB list and got a slot.

It’s now been 6wks since APS announced lottery results for HB, Tech and the IB program.

How much have waitlists moved? I wonder how much more significant movement there will be after private school contracts are due this month and TJ results come out in April.
