The maintenance guy installed it for her and it was a piece of cake. It's also easy to keep both the seat and the toilet clean. It both raises the toilet and provides sturdy grab bars, so there was no need for a new, tall toilet (and as I said bars wouldn't have worked anyway).

Yeah well nice if you can do that. My toilet id ticked under a banjo top counter with a mirror on the wall. Not everyone has non-tiny bathrooms.
Sure wall bars are first choice but there are safe second choices.
