red eye to Europe, most hotels don't offer check in until the afternoon. however, schedule a spa appointment the morning you arrive ("we know we need to wait until the afternoon for check-in") you either rest in the spa or often they will get a room ready for you while you're in the spa. (b/c you're now a guest, not just one of many asking for early, early check in)

International use costs extra on most plans. I pay $10 a day ATT. My SO pays $20/day Verizon because they have a scam going where they end up charging you double. T-Mobile is free but who has T-Mobile?

I have a phone with unlimited data. Do I need to do anything before my trip overseas in order to call or search if needed?

If I’m flying a red eye to Europe I check in the day before arrival so I can go straight to the hotel and sleep.

If they're calling you they obviously have some data access and could look up directions themselves.

I take off the full day we fly even if it is in th le PM. I also take off the day after we come back to unpack and do laundry and ease back in.

If we have afternoon flights, wash the bedding and make the beds. Make sure laundry is 100% caught up. Schedule cleaning ladies to come while we’re gone. I love coming home to a clean house and fresh bed.

Plug in night lights. Sound machine or app.
