Probably star magnolias. Definitely in bloom now. B Pears aren’t quite there yet

There are some veery pretty trees blooming right now (Bethesda area) and I need help identifying it please. White blooms with inch-long petals. The trees seem about the size of a Dogwood - so not too large. Any ideas? TIA
