Agree with the above PPs - wipes and dry shampoo, maybe a quick washcloth wipe-down.

Yoga, barre, Pilates, walking - do light exercise. It’s great for you

Omg this is gross. And I’m someone who doesn’t have BO. But please shower after you work out, even if you don’t sweat a lot.

Your husband is probably nose blind to you. That doesn’t mean you stink like intense body odor, but you probably have a smell that’s a little bit too strong for others.

I struggle with this, too. I’ve become a big fan of baby wipes. I’ll strip down, wipe myself down, wash my face, put on deodorant, and get dressed. Maybe spritz my hair with an essential oil spray so it doesn’t smell sweaty.

Embrace the not showering. Use some dry shampoo—I like the living proof one and change your clothes. Good to

I work from home, my kids are in their 20s (I'm 51), and DH cooks so I can take a leisurely 2 hours for some strength, long Peloton ride, cool down, stretching and a long shower right after work every day.

When I worked in the office and had kids at home, I could never fit any exercise in regularly enough for it to be a routine. Going to the gym at 5 am or skipping lunch to work out was never an option. I like to sleep and eat (and shower).

I also take a long time. My hair is thin so I need products and have to blow it dry.
Additionally, I have skin issues and dark circles so I have to wear makeup.

Showering definitely prevents me from exercising sometimes! If it's s sweaty workout, I do it only on weekends when I can shower afterwards. On other days, I walk on treadmill and lift some light weights. I don't get too sweaty doing that but I keep a fan blowing on me.

That doesn't get me super sweaty so I don't really need to shower afterwards. I just freshen up with a few wet wipes and change of underwear and deodorant. Quick touchup of hair and make up. That's usually sufficient to get me through the rest of the day. I can always shower when I get home if I feel the need to.

Wouldn’t you shower that night?

Put your hair in a shower cap and just wash your body. That should shorten the shower time.

I have the same issue.

In fact, I'm jealous of DH who can go for a run or do some lifting in our basement, then take a shower and be fully dressed and ready to go ten minutes after finishing.

The only real answer is to develop two types of showers- the long luxurious one with all the products, and the fast one to soap up, rinse off, and get out..

That then leaves the problem of what to do with hair and make-up....

How long does it take you to shower? Or is it drying your hair? How many days a week do you usually shower?

Don’t wail in me please. I find that I would exercise more if I didn’t also have to shower. I am not fast in the shower so that if I run for say 30-45 mins and then shower the hole thing becomes a two hour ordeal with getting dressed etc. How does everyone work out every day? Is it gross to work out and then get dressed if I don’t smell? I’m not a big sweater so it’s possible but this is keeping me from working out at all. I know it’s kind of weird.
