I've mostly given up and resorted to seedless mandarins by Aldi. They are almost always good, only had a "bad" bunch once. I still make sure it's a "heavy bag" though. Even the Halos and L'il Cuties from other stores are unreliable.
Agree with previous poster about selecting regular oranges by weight - but it still is no guarantee around here. Produce around here is just sub-par in general.
