Wanting protein since we don’t eat a whole lot of meat and I have an active boy. I do cook meat but having some protein in a snack form would be good. Nut butter baked goods are my go to, but not allowed at school and other places.

I use Kodiak flour at home to make baked goods for everyone including the kids. It has whey protein added so it should be safe for you to do so. I didn’t recommend Kodiak because it says it has traces of egg, soy and nuts.

I want to bake something with some more protein that is suitable to take to school and other nut free places. Any great ideas? I did find some banana bread recipes that include whey protein powder, but are they regulated and safe for regular consumption by kids?
