It doesn't sound like student is looking forward to learn but wants to get the third year out of the way, and is inquiring what's involved in completing it in summer

It will be crap because it’s so compacted. You can’t learn a third year of language in 2 months crammed and expect to be immersed in the language and perfect talking in 8 weeks. Come on.

My kid is currently a freshman at TJ, taking Spanish 2. He's maintaining an A but his grades aren't consistent. Looking for him to take Spanish 3 over the summer through FCPS to get the language elective over with, can anyone provide any info as to the course material, any in-person tests (midterm/final, PALS), and how the course rigor is?
