There is a lot of harmful speculation on this thread with "maybes" or "I thinks" and no facts. But what's a little fact finding have to do with anything? Geesh!
When the reason is not veiled in “administrative leave” the community always gets a letter explaining why the principal is on leave. For example my friend got a letter stating her daughter’s principal was on leave just last week because the principals father had died. When my son’s admin took extended leave she wrote a letter saying she was pregnant and would be on maternity leave. When there is no reason to hide, the reason is told to the community

Yes, but when she took medical leave during a previous health issue, a detailed message came directly from her, not a cryptic message from a county official nobody knows. I certainly hope her health is not the issue, and it doesn’t seem that way.

Maybe she's working her way up? Quite a few sketchy middle school principals could meet a similar fate. Probably depends on whether anyone reported issues or not.

I doubt elementary school principals is where Felder needs to be making a clean sweep when it comes to MCPS.
