This, I go for a quick run (30 minutes?). I go very very slow and do what I can. I give myself a lot of grace.

For me, I test the waters day by day. When I start feeling better, I'll go for a long walk. If that's fine, the next day I may go for a short (10 minute) run. If that feels fine, then I'll push back to normal the following day.

But really, OP you know your body better than the rest of us. Depending on your own health situation or your own level of fitness, things can vary quite a bit.

It all depends. With a mild cold I don't really stop exercising because I find it helps me feel better faster. When I got Covid a couple summers ago, it was probably 2 weeks before I felt recovered enough to start working out again and I had to start slow. I remember I could barely walk around the block with the dogs without feeling like I was going to pass out.

Depends on what you had. If it's something like a heavy respiratory virus, two weeks is the guideline for athletes, mostly because you can have some heart issues.

I do as much as I can while I’m sick. That might just be core or a 10 min arms class or a walk. I Ramp up as quickly as I start improving and can push harder.

I get right back into it even if I'm not 100%. That's fairly easy to do since I mostly jog outside and stretch/do strength exercises at home. If I start a jog and it feels like too much I just slow down or turn it into a walk.

It really depends on how sick I was and what type of illness. I tend to err on the side of waiting an extra day if I’m not feeling back to myself. I don’t get sick often (knock on wood) and I exercise for my own wellness, not to compete, so I take being sick as a chance to be lazy for a bit.

I have been sick for about 5 days, feel I’m finally coming out of it. I’d like to get back to working out, but don’t want to push too hard or jump back in too early.
