NoVA and wealthy Richmond counties will go for Haley, but it probably won't be enough to overcome the strong Trump support in RoVA. It will be interesting to see how the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area shakes out. If Haley pulls off an upset, it will be because she pulls off an unexpected big victory among military folks in that area.

I doubt it. There are a lot of primary voters outside of NOVA that will vote for trump with large margins.

I'm a right-leaning anti-Trump Independent in Virginia and I'm voting for Nikki Haley.

Why wouldn't they vote for Nikki Haley? I'm from DC and I pick Nikki! I'm an independent, and she'd be better than Trump OR Biden for our country

No need for Democrats to vote in the primary. On average, Republicans in this area tend to be more moderate and sensible than those elsewhere (and they got a daily dose of Trump in the news during his term).

My understanding is that voters can decide on Tuesday which party primary they want to vote in. A Democrat can ask for a Republican ballot.

So are Dems going to ask for Republican ballot and vote for Vivek or Christie (who are still on the ballot) just to try to make Trump lose Virginia?
