My child is the opposite of the OP. She’s a private school student taking it at our local MCPS HS. So I hope there isn’t any issue connecting to the WiFi. I may have her go this week to make sure she can log on to it.

Is there a free way to do a practice test?

You have to access the digital app on your child’s Chromebook.

My kid is registered to take the SAT next weekend. It’s new in that it’s online and shorter.

The app says to download Blue Book and then says schools are loading it. There are steps to complete this week prior to the test, but you can’t access it—or the test admission ticket—without the app (which doesn’t load on your phone).

How are other mcps students navigating this?

My kid is registered to take it an area private school (Good Counsel) rather than his local mcps school.
