I don't know if Sidwell includes lunch, but I wouldn't assume anything about Sidwell based on what SSFS does. They are completely different schools.

Sidwell’s school lunch is included in the tuition, and my children say it’s delicious. This past year, Sidwell had a “restaurant week” featuring alums who are chefs and restaurateurs. My children loved it!

GDS high school students don’t even have a lunch program. So, your child’s options are: brown bag it, snacks from the tiny snack shop, or find a meal off campus.
