I've loved Andrea Bocelli for years and years. Decades from now, one of my pandemic memories will be of watching him sing, alone in Piazza San Marco, while everyone was locked down in their homes

I had goosebumps during that concert, and not to nitpick - it was in the Piazza del Duomo in Milano. He gave the Easter concert to an empty Duomo and at the end, sang Amazing Grace outside in the Piazza. Absolutely beautiful.

Ah, thank you for the correction!

Here's the link to the SNL skit. Bellisima!

Hahaha still can’t believe how she made it through the face licking scene. I mean she had to get through it or risk a retake. They were all so young, hilarious and insane! The Greek restaurant across the street was icing on the cake.

SNL is live so they don’t do retakes.

Dana Carvey and David Spade have a terrific podcast and they discussed that skit. Dana explained that Kirstie was an awesome guest host who was up for anything. He obviously pitched the face licking to her, and she thought it was hilarious.

Dana said the censors weren’t thrilled with the improvised humping during dress rehearsal and he was told to tone it down…he obviously didn’t.

Kirstie really was gorgeous in her prime.

Not me sitting her in a puddle of tears. Andre and his daughter, Virginia— Dare To Be❤️ Heartbreaking that he can’t “see” how beautiful his daughter is. Since he had sight before blindness at 12 years old, I hope someone with expertise bestowed him with the ability to envision her, and his son, Matteo.
