Sherwood ES and HS feel a bit like a time warp not only in terms of lack of diversity, but the type of school activities they prioritize. Keep in mind the Olney clusters have small secondary schools which mean about half as many options as larger schools. Even the DCC will have more offerings. It’s not just a comparison to W schools.
Sherwood HS is quite diverse. Can’t speak to the ES as my kids went to Olney ES. I don’t know what half as many options means but my son will complete 12 APs and there are several he did not take. The school also has PLTW Engineering and several other career programs. Strong in theater and sports compared to rest of the county abd a gazillion clubs. what does half as many options mean exactly?
Have you looked at a course bulletin for any secondary schools outside your cluster? Sherwood has less because the schools are smaller. Just look at the number of PT teachers and how many teachers they’ve cut in the last few years. Remember when Sherwood had 2 chorus teachers?
what courses are you looking for that are not offered?

Can you elaborate about the lack of diversity at Sherwood because according to this report card, it looks pretty diverse to me.

Of the 3 schools mentioned in this thread, Sherwood ES is the only one majority white. That is less diverse than the other 2
