I wouldn’t put out yogurt for Easter brunch unless you are going for the business travel Residence Inn vibe.

Ham
Breads - can be your biscuits, nice bread, rolls etc
Accompaniments like a good mustard, pineapple chutney, something
Cheese board with crackers , cheeses should pair with ham.

French Toast Casserole or Cinnamon Rolls

Some type of potato brunch dish, could be casserole, roasted cubed etc

Salads - your green bean salad, green salad, fruit plate (so people can choose ther wn type of fruit)

Agree. Have good grass butter and plain whole milk yogurt and honey handy.

My family would eat muffins, yogurt, and fruit if expecting brunch at 1pm because we would probably eat a hearty breakfast at 8am. But if you called it lunch we'd have a lighter breakfast and eat the ham, salads, etc.

Personally I love plain Greek yogurt and honey but it’s not universally popular. I wouldn’t serve it at a typical American brunch.

Muffins, bagels and lox, fruit, and if you want yogurt some different yogurt flavors for kids.

A lot of people are anti sugary yogurt now

Quiche is a good option, easy to make ahead

I’d add a breakfast casserole, a quiche, or a frittata. I think you’ve got a great menu — with three very different salads, soup, and biscuits for the vegan.

Add a breakfast casserole! There are tons out there.

Or to be more lunch-y, maybe a pasta casserole. Cooks Illustrated has a “make ahead” cookbook with a lot of stuff like that.

You could do a tenderloin ahead and serve cold with some horseradish sauce and sliced baguette. But if you already have the ham maybe it’s overkill.

For the maybe vegan I would have some nice bread, good peanut butter and ripe avocados, and everything bagel seasoning handy. If she’s not vegan, you can eat it later. If she is, easy avocado toast. Maybe pickled red onions?

OP here.

I also thought about having carrot-ginger soup in my crockpot.

It would be a sit-down meal in our sun room.

I’m going to have 9 people over for Easter lunch/brunch, but I’m playing trumpet from 7:30 AM -12:30 PM at a church 20 minutes from my house. I need to come up with a menu that I can make ahead of time.

Below are my thoughts thus far:

- Honey baked ham
- Artichoke relish (from Asheville farmer’s market, great with ham)
- Biscuits
- Deviled eggs

Would like some combination of green bean salad, a fruit salad, spinach salad.

I’d like to make it as nice as I can. One person is occasionally a vegan (she switches without warning). The kids are adventurous eaters.

We thought about going out to eat, but Chez Francois and Patownac Farm don’t have any availability for 9. I wasn’t sure where else to go. At our house, the younger kids can have an Easter egg hunt.

Thanks for your suggestions!
