I purchased Typesy for my kids. It teaches touch typing and has modules that kids (or adults) can do, one or two a day. My 10 and 12 year old did it most days last summer. They didn't quite finish all the keys and will continue it again this summer.

I haven’t checked this out as a parent yet, but in the 90s my school used Type to Learn software. I thought it was fun, so my parents bought it for me to play the typing games at home.

Your question just reminded me of the software, so I looked it up and it’s still around! Presumably it’s more updated now.

Just use typing club (edclub.com). You will not send your 16 yo to 2 weeks of typing camp. What a waste of life. Just practice every day.

My 16 yo never learned to type properly. Agrees it is a problem and is willing to devote time to solving this summer. What programs have worked for others?
Open to in person intensive (in or near Arlington) week or two program, online, etc.
