Yes there is a PAR for administrators. If the admin is underperforming they are referred to PAR. The deficits are noted and a panel will work with the admin on an improvement plan. If the admin continues to underperform, or fails to accept the plan, they can return to a position where they were successful before. If no improvement is noted, the panel can recommend termination from the position. Administrators do not have tenure in their positions.

And they get the real good jobs at central office if they mix in a DUI or get themselves involved in a scandal. Moving on up....to Gude Drive!

Their contract has some language about their review process and support system if they are not meeting standard. Don’t know if there’s a separate professional growth handbook for administrators, like there is for teachers.

The review process is so arbitrary for teachers bc it boils down to a popularity contest and appeasing admin with "good" inflated data. If you take true numbers and report violence and misbehavior they you as a teacher will be pushed out and most likely they will report to unemployment that you resigned. Even if they nonrenewed you. Not sure how they get away with manipulating official paperwork but these corrupt admin are above the law.
