I don’t see it as pressure any more than her science test today was pressure. She studied for it, gave it her best shot, and she will receive her results tomorrow.
For our family, the outplacement process has been a lot of work, but overall a positive experience. Our child attended a K-8 school, and she has matured into a lovely young woman who is now capable of evaluating the high school that will be the best fit for her. When she receives her admissions results tomorrow, she will be ready to re-visit schools and evaluate her available choices while possibly also navigating some disappointment.
The feeling in our household isn’t one of pressure but a mix of excitement, nervousness, and anticipation for the next step.

Its anticipation and kids feel it as well as parents. The family comforts each other during times of high stress. Everyone will end up where they're meant to be. Good luck!!

I've been pretty calm all season this time around but it is definitely more nerve racking this week....part of me just wants to know what my next two weeks will look like and what sort of decisions (if any) I will need to work through.

Good luck for those waiting. Sometimes this forum devolves into a cesspool of vitriol, but having gone through the process recently, I completely understand and anxiety and sincerely wish the best for those waiting on decision. These are kids, after all.
