I have 5 Asian American male friends who are gay and none were adopted. All slightly older than your examples, late 30s-early 50s.

You'd have to look at why they were adopted.

Did the mother want a girl, so maybe she treated the adopted by effeminately?

Were the boys adopted as a baby, or when they were older?

Is this just anecdotal?

"The fraternal birth order effect is the tendency for older brothers to increase the odds of homosexuality in later-born males." The theory seems to be that the more boys that a birth mother has, the more likely the younger sons are to be gay.
Something about hormones in the mother.

The more kids you have, the more likely one or more is to be gay. So if you have Asian mothers having enough children that they are giving up boys for adoption, more of the adopted boys might be gay. I've seen this in large Catholic families as well.

Being gay is not accepted in Asian families. So they are quiet and suffer in silence. Adopted Asians can be themselves and come out and it’s accepted. This is why

Anecdata but wondering if anyone else has observed this:

Out of the Asian boys/men I know IRL who were adopted by White families, the majority identify as gay. I know three men in their early 30s who fall into this category and identify as gay and one college student whom I believe is straight but I don't know for sure. And I'm thinking about celebrities, too, like Joel Kim Booster. Curious what sociological factors might be at play or if it's just a "sampling error" on my part.
