The raise was $6k. Good for newer teachers and perhaps attracting new young teachers with a more competitive salary. For anyone in the system for more than 10 years it was less than inflation (9%). Meanwhile Admin got a 7% raise. There was definitely minor grumbling from staff. We are due for a 3% raise next year but again this is slightly less than inflation. I realize all of this may be similar to the private sector.

Salaries were negotiated last year and remained funded as a priority in the budget.

Has anyone heard anything at all? So many people in my building are waiting to hear before they walk (don’t think whatever they offer will be nearly enough after this hellish year)
