This. It’s called genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) and vaginal estrogen is the front line treatment

I have kidney stones and this happens to me sometimes even I don't have a stone big enough to cause any other physical discomfort.

I did and got a full Ct scan and ultrasound. Nada. Next up is a urodynamics test which I'm afraid of as it involved a catheter. Ideas?

I consider peeing a lot to be self-care and that way I feel good, even smug about it.

Yes, all the time. And I’ll go and then turn right back around because I need to go again. So frustrating.

https://www.nia.nih.gov/health/bladder-health-and-incontinence/15-tips-keep-your-bladder-healthy#:~:text=As%20people%20get%20older%2C%20the,to%20the%20bathroom%20more%20often.

As people get older, the bladder changes. The elastic bladder tissue may toughen and become less stretchy. A less flexible bladder cannot hold as much urine as before and might make you go to the bathroom more often. The bladder wall and pelvic floor muscles may weaken, making it harder to empty the bladder fully and causing urine to leak.

I have increased urgency now. All is well and I am feeling normal and then, within seconds, I have to go NOW! So annoying! I am now aware of all public bathrooms (which I want to avoid) because it can be overwhelming. I am blaming my supersized sons who are now 30 and 32 years old 😀

Same here. I didn't realize it was a symptom of vaginal dryness due to declining estrogen levels. I mean, we'd been using lubricant for PIV but I had no idea my increased need to pee was a symptom of dryness.

Always! I never don’t have to - literally. Highly annoying.

It’s often related to estrogen loss. Taking vaginal estrogen fixed this for me.
