Nothing In Between has studios in Arlington and Tysons and they have individual wooden bowls of water that they use, not the whirlpool seats.

Good lord. Varnish Lane is three blocks from the old Red Door salon and lots of people went to Red Door because they liked the lack of tubs. So it doesn’t seem particularly shocking that those people would migrate to a nearby option that offers a similar service. Use your brain.

No. I really want a pedicure but do not want to get an infection from one of those whirlpool tubs. I’m surprised there aren’t any places like the old Red Door that had individual bowls for each customer.

Varnish Lane is great. Their technicians are consistently good across locations. I've been to all their DC locations, there's one on 44th off Wisconsin Ave.

I used to go to Red Door because I didn’t want the gross whirlpool tubs, and I switched to Varnish Lane when Red Door closed. It’s great.

Any places have pedicures like the old Elizabeth Arden on Wisconsin Ave?
