NP. I don’t think it’s odd at all. My husband and I are deciding between Peru, Scotland, South Africa, and Japan.

Do you always go to the same type of places? I have a wide variety on my bucket list.

Hawaii or Italy would be my top two because London/Dublin seems to involve to much movement/constant traveling and Alaska is either too cold or has too many flying insects.

Sorry. My kids are 23 dd, 18 and 15 ds

I've been to all except Alaska (too cold for my taste) and have done the Dolomites and the Big Island, Hawaii in June. Both are spectacular but very different. In the Dolomites, we did a lot of hiking and some e-biking. The scenery and meals were amazing. That said, it's probably better for older kids. On the other hand, there is so much to do in Hawaii, so if your kids are younger (elementary aged or below), I would vote Hawaii. FWIW, the weather was great in both in June.

PowerPoint is fun?

I would pick the Dolomites but that’s the kind of vacation I prefer.

Is it this June? One of the things I always hear about Alaska is how early you should book, especially for accommodations and tours. So if it’s this year, I would probably rule that one out. Not sure if booking early applies to the other locations as well.

Those are very different places. What does your family like to do? What are their ages? Do you want to rent a car and tour (Dolomites, Ireland, Hawaii) or take a cruise (Alaska)? Alaska could still be very cold in June.
