I actually think she has low self esteem . She wouldn’t make her relationships her personality or public fodder if she was confident in her work and talent . J Lo is like a Kim Kardashian or Elizabeth Taylor, but I do like her commitment to being a movie star rather than an actress . She looks the part of a Hwood movie star unlike a Jennifer Lawrence or Garner . Her daughter seems to be becoming the anti Jennifer though.

She’s an entertainer she is just doing her job. She makes her self into art and then sells it to people.
Maybe she is a narcissist in the classical sense of obsession with her own appearance but not in the psychology sense of abusing others due to selfishness.

She looks fantastic and is a decent performer but I agree regarding her level of narcissism. It's next level-even for a celebrity. The Netflix doc about her preparing for the Superbowl show was one thing but this new vanity project is just really odd.

There is a difference between narcissism and really really really liking attention, which isn't always great but not as harmful as nsrcissism. It isn't my place to judge someone I have never met in person, but it is possible she is one of the two, or neither.

I don’t think it’s necessarily an inborn narcissism so much as a response to the way the world has pursued and rewarded her. Think of the thousands upon thousands of interviews she’s given. Fans scream her name, paparazzi snap her photos, people obsessively want to know what she does, eats, wears, skincare routine, relationship status, on and on. She is, essentially, giving people what they want, or are willing to pay for—or pay attention to.

She’s got you so hooked that you want to analyze her even though she allegedly repulses you.

Psychologically, what is there to say about that level of narcissism? How do people make sense of it and its origins? It truly is beyond anything I've ever seen.
