There are both advantages and disadvantages to being tall. Just like there are advantages and disadvantages to being short. Let you daughter try it.

Field hockey girls come in all shapes and sizes. There are some advantages to being tall, like having a particularly long reach, but it isn’t like basketball where it can be hard to be successful if you aren’t tall.

My 11 year old girl is thinking about trying field hockey in the fall. She has never played and I know nothing about it. She is super tall.
Is field hockey a good sport for tall kids? Will she have an advantage or disadvantage?
