Gymkana at UMD-College Park
Try your closest Park and Rec Gymnastics facility as well.

Agility classes (think ninja warrior obstacles courses) may be a better fit for fun while still building strength if you’re not interested in traditional artistic gymnastics training. Dynamite Gymnastics has the Agility Center in the same warehouse complex, and it’s generally easier to get into the agility classes. They do trial classes as well if you want to try it out and see if it’s a good fit.

My 9-year-old started gymnastics with her friend. The class seems great for learning techniques and building strength, but the kids don’t want to go back because they said the class isn’t any fun. I was wondering if there are any gymnastics classes in Germantown/North Potomac/Rockville that are more laid back and focus more on fun? Maybe a class where they play a game or two? i was wondering if there is a more low key class at a community center or somewhere else?

Gymnastics was recommended for my daughter to keep building her strength, so we are hoping to find a way to make it more fun, so that she wants to keep going. Thank you for your help! Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
