There are several RL teams here who have beaten all the NL teams. GFR played in both leagues this year and the completion at RL was way better

No clubs around here have RL teams that beat their NL teams. Even down in Richmond, where often I see teams from the Strikers look better than the United teams, they do what they can to make it appear as if that's not the case. It's not good for their business. Probably the reason why this area hasn't followed other RL regions and implementing sub rules, the gap between NL and RL would be even greater.

In regions where RL is meaningful. That doesn't apply here. That portion of RL teams that are strong would likely compete with what this region offers on a national level too.

ENCL RL is not a competitive league, some clubs are very small and some are big. The level is all over the place.

Alexandria playing EDP is better then playing RL.

ECNL-R bridges the middle of NCSL division 1.

It seems like a high level until you realize it's not that high compared to the top half of ECNL-R teams.

Don't confuse Regional with National. ECNL-RL around here isn't anything THAT much different than NCSL. At least EDP puts sub rules in for U15+.
