Also policy/lobbying in these areas. More relationship based, but if you are top 10 law school you probably have a strong alum network to tap into.

This sounds way more demanding than the legal-adjacent type of job OP is looking for.

I went into legal publishing in my area of specialization. It didn't pay as much as practicing did, but it paid well, and I had total work/life balance.

Patent office has good telework policies.

Marketing dept of law firm? I would just search top 40 law firms on LinkedIn and see if there are job postings for each firm. They usually only post their business side roles anyways.

Did you practice law at all? Because, I would start by reaching out to my former firm to see if they have anything similar to what you are describing. Also, reach out to your top 10 law school. They should be able to help you. Then reach out to anyone from your former firm that you are still in touch with. You have to start networking. If you are asking here, I sense you may not have kept in touch with anyone. In that case, start with your law school. Update your LinkedIn page. See if there is anyone you know you can have coffee with, etc.

What does top 10 law school credentials mean? There's a world of difference between someone who was top of class, clerkship, top firm, and then stay at home parent vs bottom third with little to no big law / govt experience.

My girlfriends with top law school credentials are currently so hireable in their 40s that the jobs they end up with are more flexible than the "mommy track" jobs. Everyone is working from home. Pay is obviously better too. i wouldn't aim so low. I'm far enough into my career that I could never go back to a 9 hour a day job like law school admissions where i needed to account for all my time every day.

Former SAHM with top 10 law school credentials looking for a “mommy friendly” job in the legal world, but not as an attorney. Ex- CLE coordinator at a big firm, recruiting, law school admissions. Any ideas on where/ how to find these jobs? Hybrid is a possibility, but fully remote would be ideal.
