It’s weird because the panicles or whatever you call them in the case of yarrow were not there when planted in September but I noticed they’d developed by December. It’s not quite blooming yet to be honest but I can tell it’s going to be yellow now which I couldn’t before. Guess I’ll call the garden place this week and ask!

Are you sure it isn't winter jasmine? We have winter jasmine and witch hazel and both are blooming (yellow) now.

Title says it all. Just had some perennials planted last year and the yarrow (yellow) is beginning to bloom. Isn’t it early? Is stuff blooming early around you too?
