As a teacher I’ve seen this and it’s cute. Believe it or not we are unique people who have different, distinct ways of dressing. Kids usually dress like their favorite teacher who has a particular way they tend to dress and then they take a picture together.

I think it’s adorable. And the snow day thing is hilarious.

You dress as a specific teacher. Like you notice little things about your particular teacher and imitate those.

I don’t think it’s offensive. Teachers sometimes do “dress as a student” day and it’s hilarious. I think it’s a bonding thing. Or course some kid could take it too far and get really cruel but kids like that don’t need a special day to be awful.

Tape/glue some patches (cut out of another kind of fabric) to the elbows of their shirt (Blazer is even better). Get fake glasses and put a chain on it. A chunky necklace (better if it has an apple or pencil accent). Just do "generic professor" or "Ms. Frizzle style". Don't target or poke fun of their teachers unless you think the teachers would truly love it

Teachers dress in normal clothes but usually not leggings/athletic wear. Have your kid dress in anything that's not leggings/atheltic wear.

My kids always talk about sweaters, cape sweaters, etc. Teachers get cold apparently!
