Class action on oil consumption issues
Class action for cars catching fire
Class action for tow modules on Palisade/Telluride catching fire
Class action for lack of immobilizer leading to lower-end models getting stolen

I am sure I'm missing some.

I don't understand the why. Just get a Toyota for heaven's sake.

Are you in the DC metro area? Like is this only happening in the city or is it happening in suburban parking lots, too?

The engine fire recall is for much earlier model cars.

It is pre 2022 models that uses a key.

Nothing to do with 2024 models theft wise

The only ones being stolen are ones you can start with a key. Don't buy the base model and no-one will steal your car.

It’s the older models that use keys that are getting stolen.

This is not true. Honda and Acuras are most stolen, as are Dodge muscle cars: charger, challenger, etc.

Hyundai has been a PIA to deal with for the two big recalls (engine issues) and software update to prevent theft, and for another issue that that may or may not have been under warranty that needed a $2 plastic part, they tried to tell me my car was going to have to sit at the dealership for 4-6 weeks. I got it done at a local repair place the next day. And the way they tried to downplay the theft issue was bad and clearly not just a dealership issue.

I'm never buying a Hyundai again.

Are you specifically referring to the 2024s?

Reading about the Kia and Hyundai recalls relating to engine fires. Have you bought a new Hyundai or Kia recently? Have they fixed the issues that lead to the engine fires?
