Check out StudyHouse in Vienna. A friend’s elementary-age daughter is in a writing program there and loves it.

Check out the Fairfax Collegiate summer program. They have a variety of courses, including writing and public speaking. I also believe some of this could be easily done at home.

Most kids in AAP have the potential to do at least two levels more, which is what outside enrichment programs provide.

Isn’t that what AAP should be doing?

Are there enrichment programs for language arts that focus on writing, grammar and oral communication? Any recommendations? Asking for a third grader.
