I don't know either, OP. We're all of us normal weight in my family, but DH and DS never stink, and DD and myself tend to stink when we're stressed out. Yet we all eat the same thing...
I have thyroid issues and I'm on replacement hormones but that hasn't changed my body odor either.

My totally unverified theory: you have changed your gut microbiome, either through what you eat, the drug itself, weight loss or some combo of all the above.

thyroid medication did that for me.

I think I read something that it reduces BO but increase halitosis? Weird side effects for sure!

Maybe, but I'm not diabetic and my normal A1C hasn't changed since I started Ozempic.

I lost about 40 pounds. 240 to 200, so I'm still obese.

I’m so mystified by this drug.

I used to have horrible BO. I could not get away with not wearing deodorant for more than an hour or two, and often my pits would still be stinky directly after a scrub in the shower. Natural deodorants were a non-starter and often made me smell WORSE. Clinical strength anti-perspirant was only way to keep it at bay. I hated how it logged my pores and made my shirts all cruddy.

Seriously, my funk was overwhelming even to me at times but I thought it was normal.

Now, I honestly barely have to use deodorant. And even the natural ones work, I haven’t purchased anti-perspirant in like a year, and one application lasts for days. I only get stinky if I get really really stressed out. Right now; I haven’t showered in 36 hours, forgot to put on deodorant entirely, and I my pits got a little damp in my sweater. Still, there is almost NO smell when I put my nose to it. And what little smell is nothing like the skunky oniony smell I used to have.

It’s bizarre, I don’t understand it. And it’s not that I lost weight and sweat less. I haven’t lost THAT much weight, I’ve never sweat much in my armpits even at my heaviest. It’s some kind of hormonal shift. Anyone else notice the same?
