Subject: Can an MCPS teacher open a link sent to their work email?
Sometimes.
MCPS blocks a lot of stuff that it probably shouldn’t. Last night, I couldn’t open a university’s website while logged into my MCPS Gmail/Chrome browser because MCPS said its certificate had expired. I opened it on my phone with no issues. That said, I am not opening any links from parents or students on my personal devices.
Another issue is that Outlook does this weird thing to links sent from outside the mcpsmd.org domain. I think it is called safelink. It’s supposed to protect against viruses, but it has quarantined a lot of links for me.
You might be better off sending the title of the video or a screenshot.
