no they cant. MLS partnered with GA. Go look at NVA thread. ECNL told them no to keep girls in ECNL

The younger teams of copper mine are very strong and have lots of potential, the reason why older teams are weaker is because strong players leave for MLSNEXT and ECNL but if copper mine joins, then younger players would have a reason to stay and the copper mine facilities are very good as well. The 2012 and 2013 copper mine teams are strong and would be competitive in MLSNEXT

Coppermine is not good enough to join ecnl, let alone MLS next

Other than top players not playing for them because they lack the ECNL or MLS Next brand, where else are they lacking?

It's funny to see what's happening to MLS next. Initially, it was supposed to be team academies plus some very elite club teams. Now there are multiple clubs in every metro area. I wonder how long it will take academies to totally wash their hands of it

Why would ecnl allow this? The boys are much better than the girls.

No chance. Pipeline pools heavily from private high schools in Baltimore area. Would severely impact their ability to recruit from places like Calvert Hall. They also already have a partnership with DC United.

They are starting to go against their own rules because the reality is that they would lose a ton of gclubs to ga and mls next.

Correct. ECNL has been bending the rules. They’d rather lose the boys than both
