OP - for the # of kids you're talking about, these places will all have specific event planners / coordinators. They charge per head, and have different packages depending on what you want to spend.

You just need to go to their websites to find out the details.

When you go to places like Skyzone or Funland, are parents specifically asked to stay with their kids? Some kids go real wild and I feel a little worried about managing them all without their own parents being around.

For places like Monster Mini Golf or Dave and Busters, how do you make payments? Do you make a budget as in each child gets to spend $20 for example, and if they run out of money on their tokens, they are done?

What do you do about food and cake at such places? Or do you book a slot in the afternoons and not include lunch?

Thanks!

I am the PP who did just 4 friend at D&B. I put $30 on each kid's card and handed them over. When they were done, that was it. We skipped all the prizes etc and I made them little goodie bags instead because that part is the WORST. It kept them busy for over an hour. Then we had some food too. I brought cupcakes and D&B was fine with that.

The gift bags kept them busy for an hour, or do you mean the whole playtime? What was in the bags?

Just had my 9YO's birthday at Monster Mini Golf in Chantilly and it was awesome.

There's an escape room in Fairfax that also does a kids room, but might not be big enough for that many kids.

Cake Time or Board and Brush is also a lot of fun.

My oldest DD is 8. In the past 6 months or so, we've been to the following for parties:
Laser tag
Sky Zone
Bowlero
KidCreate or similar art studio
Paint your own pottery

My 8 year old’s party was at sky zone and was a huge hit. Classmates’/friends’ parties that my kid loved were at: bowlero, Dave & busters, mini golf, laser tag.

Ultrazone Laser tag. Super easy as a parent and my 8 year old loved it. Works great as a drop off because there's a lot for parents in the area

Please recommend places where 15-17 kids aged 8 will feel entertained. Thinking of booking something in advance for birthday late spring. Thank you.
