My insurance covers Wegovy (but it is out of stock). It does not cover Zepbound (yet) but I'm applying for an exception.

Assuming I don't get an exception, I'm thinking of paying out-of-pocket for a month of Zepbound (with the Lily coupon) in hopes that insurance will soon cover it, or that Wegovy will soon become more available.

Do people know about problems from switching from Zepbound to Wegovy?

Are people aware of insurance problems that could occur if the insurance eventually starts paying for Zepbound, but I'm already taking it? (So wouldn't be a new prescription?)
