YES you definitely tell them. And tell them now, and don’t let them know you have already seen someone in there! You don’t want to have to police your kid’s window forever, and how mortifying if they found out you could see and never said anything.

I’d just say it—the anonymous note is more embarrassing. “Hey, your addition is beautiful, From my daughter’s room there’s a clear bore into the bathroom. Thought we should tell you before we see something we shouldn’t.”

I would want to know.

Let them know. They could put an evergreen tree there too.

We figured that might be the case for us at our old house, so we put up some privacy film there too. But are you so spaced out that you are the only neighbors who can see in at that angle? If so it might be awkward to write an “anonymous” note? Can you put something in your daughter’s window, like a light or decal or something that would draw your neighbor’s attention to the angle? Maybe the decal can block the view for your daughter too without having to keep the curtain closed.

Say something. Apologetically.

Bsaed on the vantage point, it would be pretty clear who sent teh "anonymous" note unless OP has roofers roaming around.

We have frosted glass in our bathroom windows. They could put some film on it unless they don’t mind being seen.

I’d want to tell them but I’d feel awkward enough that I might just leave an anonymous note.

I would say something. It might be awkward, but if I were the neighbors, I'd be grateful for the information.

Across the street neighbor added basically a suite to the side of their house. It's ground level, large bedroom, bath and large closet. The bath is closest to the street and they put in one of those long horizontal windows near the ceiling. I guess it's supposed to accommodate light and privacy.

Well, it's been done for about a month and yesterday I was waking my young daughter and from her bedroom window I could very clearly see the wife showering. Like, I saw everything. My daughter's room is street side and on the second floor so the angle was just right. I very much doubt they know this. Do you say anything or just play dumb?
