Yes if it was put that way I definitly answer back with confirmation.

They said will “drop by over the weekend.”
Or “will come by see her tomorrow.”

Responded back with sure.

I guess they were just busy. Its not my fault .

I am a little confused.
Few of my friends said they will come to visit my mum who has been sick for a while. They told me the days when they would come.
One did but 3 others who said they would , did not.
My question is this : was I suppose to follow up and say come at so and so time etc?
Or they were just busy etc thats why they didnt..
I dont mind them not having come - I just hope I am not in the wrong by not “following up.” ?
