Personally, I loved it. Much for than Station Eleven, and somewhat more than Glass House.
Parts of it take place in the future, but I would not call it dystopian because it’s not about major societal injustice. And no, it does not involve kids. (It’s nothing like the Hunger Games trilogy, if that’s what you’re asking …. )
